Springtime Flowers

Our fix on the planet is unique, of course; there is no place else like it. And because of our exact location, we have a general climate, but that climate is made unusual by the proximity of several weather producing geologic superpowers like the Sierra -- Mt. Rose, Tahoe, the Truckee and Carson rivers -- Virginia Range and beyond. Because of this, microclimates abound. What we get is a spectrum of blooming times, even within the same garden.

But that just makes it fun.
